【摘要】本文讨论了 802.11 标准定义的无线局域网的两种组网结构 IBSS 和 ESS 的工
作原理，分析了它们的多地址帧结构在组网中的功能和作用，讨论了 MAC 协议对无线站点
的移动性支持方面的不足，以及在组建多跳无线网时需要进一步解决的问题。

【Abstract】This paper describes the architecture and the operation of the IBSS and ESS
adopted by IEEE 802.11 Standard, analyses the effect and the function of the multi-addresses
frame structure to be used in networking, then discusses the insufficiency of the mobility of the
MAC protocol and the future resolution should be adopted in multi-hop wireless network.
